Volunteer at the Park Store

Did you know the store at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is run by our organization, the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park?  In the store you can purchase snacks, souvenirs, camping supplies and even rent a bike/canoe/paddleboard/kayak for your time in the park.  It is out primary fundraiser that supports our efforts to further our mission of supporting the park.  Have you been to the store lately?  We took over full control of the store in October 2016 (well almost full) and have made many improvements to it.  Part of the process of taking over full control of the store is the transition of the store being manned by resident park volunteers to being manned completely by our organization board members, staff and volunteers.  We have hired one full time employee but need your help as well as it truly takes two people in the store to operate it at maximum customer service coverage.  Are you available one four hour shift a month? or an eight hour shift?  or maybe just available to cover a lunch break a couple times a month?  Any and all help is much appreciated.  If you are interested in volunteering in the park store and helping our organization support Topsail Hill Preserve State Park please email us at friendsofthsp@gmail.com
