Dear Members:

Thank you for your continued support of the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park through your memberships, generous donations and volunteering. Your contributions help us expand our resources so we can continue to fund projects, maintenance and events.

Moving forward this year, after the last two challenging years, we were able to host several morning chats with a Ranger.  The participants learned a lot about our park and wildlife from our knowledgeable Rangers, as well as enjoying donuts, coffee and juice. Thank you to Donut Hole and Kith & Kin.

We were also fortunate to host two outdoor Movie Nights. Our spring showing, Hoot, in conjunction with a Silent Auction, was a successful fundraiser.  Our fall movie, Hocus Pocus, was a fun Halloween event with many families from within the park and community participating in the costume contest, face painting, pumpkin painting and just plain fun.  Thank you to Taco 30A and Kith & Kin for good food and beverages at both events.

Our current year budget included funds for continued park improvements, equipment and other items needed for operations.  This year to date we have funded $3,254 toward these improvements and will fund additional needs through the end of the year.

The Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for January 12, 2022 – 5:30pm in the Clubhouse.
